Craftsmen at work in the Dream House Improvement workshop
About the Studio

Since 2012 — milling,
joining, and finishing — by hand.

Same workshop. A better experience.

Devika Latchman leads Dream House Improvement with a renewed focus on what matters most — how we listen, how we plan, and how we deliver for every homeowner we work with.

The craft has not changed. Since 2012, we have milled every panel, cut every joint, and finished every surface by hand in our GTA workshop. What has changed is the standard we hold ourselves to: clearer communication, tighter timelines, and a team fully invested in making every project feel personal again.

This is the Dream House Improvement our clients have always deserved — and we are just getting started.

Our Home in the GTA

A showroom to inspire. A factory to deliver.

Every Dream House Improvement project lives in two connected spaces — our showroom, where you choose finishes and see the craft up close, and our factory floor, where your cabinetry is built panel by panel. One team, one standard, from the first walk-through to the final install.

The Factory

Where every panel gets its start.

Behind the showroom, our GTA workshop stays busy — panels cut to size, edges banded, joints dry-fitted, and assemblies inspected before they leave the building. This is not outsourced production. Our team mills, joins, and finishes every cabinet in-house, with the same care whether it is a single vanity or a full-home build.

The Showroom

Walk in. Touch everything.

Our showroom was built so you can experience cabinetry before it reaches your home — full kitchen vignettes, closet systems with integrated lighting, wine walls, and coffee bars finished in real stone and hardware. Sit at the consultation desk, compare door profiles side by side, and leave knowing exactly what you are getting.

What We Stand For

Three commitments, every project.

One craftsman per project

Your kitchen is not passed between hands. One lead artisan owns the build from raw slab to installed cabinet — so the joinery you live with for 25 years carries one signature.

No factory shortcuts

Every panel is milled, joined, sanded, and finished in our Toronto workshop. No imported flat-pack components, no rushed assembly, no compromises.

Materials we stand behind

European walnut, white oak, fumed eucalyptus — all FSC-certified, hand-selected for grain match. Hardware from Blum, Häfele, and Salice. Lifetime structural warranty on every piece.
